Battle of the Bulge

* I did not write this*

Battle Of The Bulge
"I'll start a new one Monday", we've heard it all before, but if I don't really start one soon I won't make it through the door.
I start with good intentions of that I can't deny,I'm getting fatter by the hour, I'll really have to try.
So no more chips or chocolate, no more 'pigging out'I'll be be very careful what I eat of that there'll be no doubt.
I'll watch my waist get tiny, I'll watch my figure thin,Oh what a joy it's going to be to at last be nice and slim.
I can see me walking down the street in dress size number ten,I just have to resist and resist I will when I get a hungry yen.
With exercise in every form and regular daily jogs, you'll see me lazing by the pool in my top designer togs.
So come join me all you tubbies, come join with me at last,I'll need all the help that I can get to get me through this fast.
If you see me eating lollies or sneaking greasy fries, then smack my hand and click your tongue, remind me of my size.
I'm sure that I can make it, I just need a little spacebefore Monday comes around again, till then I'll "stuff my face"!

Day Nine

Slacking already!

I have realized that posting everyday isn't going to work. It is hard to find time to post.

I don't understand why I am getting more depressed. Usually, when I start to diet I get really excited- but this time around I feel like I am not going to achieve anything.

Still need to cut crap out of my diet.
Still need to workout more.
Still need to lose weight.

Day three and four

The scale battle! One of the big no nos of trying to lose weight is constantly stepping on the scale. I am a little confused at this point because, I have stepped on the scale twice. Once yesterday morning and once this morning.

Yesterday it said that I weighted 130. Today it said I weighed 129. I am positive I have not lost five lbs already. There is no possible way.

Interestingly, my workout today consisted of 68 minutes on the WII Fit.

TRUST ME when I say this, I hate video games and made fun of this endlessly when my mother got it.

However, my family wanted to see what my WII age. According to the WII I am 23 years old. This is good...considering, that is my age. According to the WII I also weight 126.

So right now, I am not sure what my weight is. I am not making any of these numbers official until Saturday. I will up date my weight each Saturday.

This morning I got my hair done to make me feel better and have a new start with my life changing adventure. I am going to take Sara's advice and try not to get frustrated so easily.

Frustration

Already I am frustrated. I feel like it is not going to work. Who am I to think that I will finally get skinny? Huh?

Day Two

Morning: What to eat is the question! My husband made me pouched eggs. What the heck is that? Eggs dropped in water? I am not sure how this is suppose to taste. I am hungry. I need to eat.

I tried to get up earlier to workout. Slept in. I will workout later on today after church....or maybe I will take a nap!

---
Later on today:Why is it that every time I start to diet I end up twitching on the floor because I want a freakin cookie? I don’t even eat cookies that often, but now it is all I can think about. In the past (this is a phrase I am going to use a lot) whenever I start a diet I have to cut out all “junk” food. That means no chips, soda (not hard-don’t drink it), or dessert/candy. In the past….I have gone over six months without any of these tasty treats. However, I have recognized that part of me—who I am—loves to cook and bake. To take out little pleasure foods from my diet forever isn’t realistic. I like to eat cookies.

Therefore, I have spent a lot of time thinking today that I need to come up with a routine that I can live with for the rest of my life. I need an eating plan and an exercise plan that works for my life style. For example, in the past, I use to be able to run three times a day and spend a lot of time preparing my food. I would get up at 5:30 in the morning and be at the gym by 6 and workout until 8, shower, go to classes, work, and repeat. Once I got married and started a family, everything shifted. Running 6 to 7 seven days a week just doesn’t work for me right now.
I have set up a workout plan.
Run three days a week (if I have time for more than I will run more).
On the off days that I am not running I am going to do strength training. (No idea what that means).
Yoga three days a week.
On the off days of Yoga I am going to concentrate on a core/arm workout.
--
That is what I have so far.
Today, I went running. I ran only two miles with my brother-in-law. It was a good pace and I feel good. I need to remember to drink more water though.
As I stated before I had poached eggs for breakfast.

For lunch I had a salad with peas, olives, fat free cottage cheese, beats, and fat free dressing.

Snake- banana chips

For dinner I made a turkey with carrots, onions, and turnips.

I like to cook a “big” meal on Sunday and then use it throughout the week. I made my breakfast already for tomorrow- a spinoff on a graham cracker bar. It is really easy to make and tastes fantastic. If you were to do the real thing you take graham crackers and crunch them up. You place the crumbs into a deep bowl and then spread a little bit of honey over it. You let it sit while you cut up bananas. I like to soak my bananas in lemon before I place them evenly on the honey. You than add blueberries. On top of the blueberries you add yogurt. I changed this by using bulgur wheat instead of graham crackers. It always tastes best when you make it the night before and let it sit in the fridge.

As it stands right now I am still going to be vetoing the pleasure foods for a while.

Day One

And so the quest began with me realizing that fat is not cool. It is not wanted on this premises. It is not needed on my face, thighs, arms, buttocks, etc. Chubby is only cute when you are a baby. Since I have long past the age of being considered an infant, I need to take drastic measures.

Top ten reasons why I need to lose weight.

10) Imprints on stomach from pants, underwear, tights, anything that touches stomach hurts .
9) When I buy a cookie, I don't wont dirty looks from skinny people.
8) The getting into your pants dance isn't attractive.
7) Belly dancing by smacking stomach isn't a real talent.
6) A small is too small, a medium is too big, and the large is well to large. Why can't I find a shirt that fits? Because I am too chubby.
5) The un-lived dream of being considered sexy needs to be well...lived.
4) Sausage on plate is good. Sausage looking thighs is bad.
3) I want to be a movie star. Duh.
2) Fat isn't cool.
1) Sick and tired of being asked "when is the baby due."

This blog is created for me to vent my frustrations of failure or scream my joys of beating the fat monster.

This could get dirty, I wont lie.
This could make me go insane, what else is new?
But most importantly, this WILL HELP ME SUCCEED.....

Height: 5 foot NOTHING...grrr
Current Weight: 85.....Jk
Current Weight: 134
Goal Weight: 115
